Attorney General Sends Letters to Ag Employers Requesting COVID 19 Documents
Many agricultural employers are receiving letters from the California Attorney General requesting extensive and sensitive documents and policies related to COVID 19. If you receive one of these letters, we recommend you contact your labor attorney. At present, we are not aware of what legal authority allows the Attorney General’s office to issue such sweeping requests. The letter is a good reminder to update your Injury Illness Prevention Programs (IIP) to identify COVID 19 as a known workplace hazard. Contact the attorneys at McKague Rosasco LLP if you need more information.
